At Anchor Point Marine Services was established 17 years ago. We have a highly qualified and skilled team with over 150 years’ experience combined. This ranges from boat builders, composite engineers, structural fibreglass specialists, traditional shipwrights, classic shipwrights and marine paint technicians. We make sure to research all the new products that are available as changes in the environmental laws require these products to change accordingly on a regular basis.

We have the agencies for some of the marine industry’s best products including Marine Deck 2000 which is a compressed cork decking system. We specialise in traditional teak decks for boats of any size. We are one of the leading teak deck specialist in the industry.

Our staff are trained in the application processes as they differ depending on the product. We have built beautiful wooden bespoke masts as seen on our website. We have apprentices that are constantly learning from the best. Whether you require hull repairs, osmosis treatment, a complete interior refits, fitted out to your specific requirement or need the vessel painted, we can assist you. We have the facilities in our large work space to do entire refits from top to bottom.

Our Metal Fabrication Workshop enables us to manufacture or fabricate any bespoke item for you with top grade materials and brilliant craftsmanship. Dave our head fabrication technician is well know throughout the industry for the high quality of his work that he delivers.

Anchor Point Marine Services Ltd is based in Plymouth Yacht Haven Marina, which has just won the award for the best marina in the UK for 2019. We are perfectly located to inspect any vessel. We can arrange haul out and storage undercover or outside facilities at reasonable cost to you.
